At camp, pitch with a footprint or ground sheet when the site allows it. Shake out tents before you fold them; never store a damp fly or bag. Sleeping bags air out every morning — compression sacks are for the trail, not the closet.
Stoves get a quick wipe while they cool; fuel off before packing. Coolers drained and aired prevent the smell that never quite leaves. Rental returns get the same treatment: dry, brushed off, and ready for the next crew.
If something fails after fair use, email us with photos. We stand behind what we sell and what we rent — good gear should keep showing up for you.
